About ImageToPsd.AI: Who We Are and How We Test

ImageToPsd.AI is an image toolbox built around one idea: a picture should be a starting point, not a dead end. One image can become a layered PSD you edit in Photoshop, a new style, a short video or a clean cut-out, and every result can move on to the next tool without a download in between.

What we make

The site has more than 30 tools in two groups. The AI tools split an image into named, editable layers, generate and edit pictures, remove backgrounds, text and watermarks, expand a photo, change clothes, translate the text in a picture and animate a photo. The browser tools open and convert PSD and SVG files, turn video into GIF and photos into pixel art, and trace a PNG into an SVG. Thirteen tools are free and run entirely in your browser.

How we choose the AI behind each tool

You pick a tool, never a model. For every AI tool we run the candidate models side by side on the same real inputs, such as product photos, posters, portraits and screenshots, and keep the one that gives the best result at a fair price. Many tools also have a second model we have tested, from another maker, so a run still finishes when the first one is busy. The price you see on the button is the price you pay, whichever model did the work.

Free tools that stay on your device

The PSD viewer, the PSD and SVG converters, the SVG viewer, video to GIF, pixel art and the PNG to SVG tracer work inside your browser. Your files are not uploaded, and they work without an account.

Credits, shown before every run

AI tools use credits. The number on each button is the cost of that run, shown before you start. If a run fails, the credits go back to your balance.

Content safety

Every prompt, every uploaded picture and every result is checked before it is shown. Adult content is not allowed on the site.

How we write our guides and comparisons

Our guides come from using the tools ourselves: the screenshots, timings, layer counts and credit costs in them are from real runs on this site. When we compare ImageToPsd.AI with another product, the facts about that product come from its own public pages, and we write down the date we checked them. We review each comparison every three months and update the date at the top.
