Eclipse over Spain, 2026Nano Banana 2

Eclipse over Spain, 2026

2K · 4 credits

An ultra-wide landscape photograph of the 12 August 2026 total solar eclipse at sunset over northern Spain: the black disc of the moon low above the horizon, wrapped in a pearl-white corona with a single blazing diamond-ring flash, the sky overhead deep indigo while the horizon glows orange all the way around. A medieval hilltop castle and a line of wind turbines stand in silhouette above golden wheat fields, a crowd of tiny silhouetted observers on a ridge. Long-lens telephoto, crisp detail, awe-inspiring scale, photoreal, no text.

Night train under the auroraNano Banana 2

Night train under the aurora

2K · 4 credits

A vertical cinematic long-exposure photograph of a red night train crossing a tall curved stone viaduct high above a snowy Norwegian valley under a vivid green and violet aurora, its lit windows forming a glowing ribbon across the frame. Below the viaduct a frozen waterfall breathes steam into the cold air, stars and a thin crescent moon above the peaks, deep blue snow and warm window light in contrast. Photoreal, crisp detail, epic scale, quiet and majestic, no text, no logos.

Volcano in a bottleNano Banana 2

Volcano in a bottle

2K · 4 credits

A tilt-shift macro photograph of a miniature world sealed inside a corked antique glass bottle standing on a dark museum plinth under a single spotlight: a tiny volcanic island erupting, glowing lava running into a churning miniature ocean, a plume of ash pressing against the inside of the glass, three tiny sailing ships fleeing through the steam. Real glass reflections and beads of condensation, shallow depth of field, everything reads as a handmade scale model come to life, warm and dramatic, photoreal, no text.

Why Nano Banana 2 Is Our Default Model

We ran one prompt on 12 models before picking our default. This one drew a coherent scene and spelled the sign right in about 20 seconds.

01

Pro quality at Flash speed

Google describes it as the world knowledge, quality and reasoning of Nano Banana Pro at lightning-fast speed. Here, most images take about 20 seconds.

02

Follows detailed prompts

Google says it follows complex requests more strictly, so three objects, a camera angle, a palette and a mood can share one prompt.

03

Legible text and translation

Built for accurate, readable text in mockups and greeting cards, and it can translate text inside an image. Quote the exact words.

04

2K at the 1K price

1K and 2K both cost 4 credits here. Add up to 6 reference pictures to keep characters consistent or combine products in one scene.

Nano Banana 2 vs Nano Banana and Pro

Nano Banana 2 sits in the middle of the family. The original Nano Banana costs 2 credits for about 1K and 3 pictures. Nano Banana Pro costs 7 credits, or 13 at 4K, for long text, dense scenes and print. For most prompts, the middle one is the balance.

Nano Banana 2 Prompt Guide

Four ways to get more from Nano Banana 2, based on Google's own prompting advice.

Write the whole brief in one prompt

Because it follows complex requests closely, give it everything at once: subject, framing, action, place, light and style. For example: a low-angle shot of a red vintage scooter outside a Lisbon bakery at golden hour, warm film photo, shallow depth of field. Each detail you add leaves less to chance, and less to fix afterward.

Quote the words and name the lettering

For a sign, a label or a card, put the exact words in quotes, say where they go and describe the lettering, such as "Happy Birthday, Mia" in gold script across the top. Short lines are easier to get right than paragraphs. To translate, add the image and ask for the same layout with the text in Spanish or Japanese.

Give each picture a role

With several pictures, say what each one is for: image 1 is the model, image 2 the jacket, image 3 the background. Put the main picture first and say which one leads. This model takes up to 6 pictures, enough to keep a few characters or products the same across a whole set of images.

Pick the shape and size first

Choose the aspect ratio for where the image will live: 9:16 for stories, 4:5 for feeds, 16:9 for banners. Take 2K whenever you might crop or print; it costs the same 4 credits as 1K. Then describe the framing for that shape, such as a tall shot with room at the top for a headline.

What to Make with It

Fast, accurate and the same price at 2K, it suits everyday work where quality matters.

  • Marketing mockups

Ad drafts, posters and product cards with short, readable headlines.

  • Product scenes

Combine up to 6 product shots into one styled scene for a store or a catalog.

  • Characters in a series

Keep the same people across a set of posts, a storyboard or a comic.

  • Everyday photo edits

Swap a background, change an outfit or fix the light; it is also our image to image default.
